On day 20, assemble this handwritten card or printed page as a personal gift for your student. It holds the visual arc of 20 days and your words witnessing their journey.

Layout (top to bottom)

  1. Title line — student's name + program name + date range
  2. Four photo pairs (Day 1 / Day 20) labeled
  3. 3–4 sentences in Janki's own hand
  4. Gayatri Mantra (or other blessing)

Photo pairs

Print or arrange side-by-side: butterfly, paschimottanasan, sarvangasan, shirshasan attempt.

Each pair labeled clearly with the day number:

Day 1 / Day 20 — Butterfly
Day 1 / Day 20 — Paschimottanasan
Day 1 / Day 20 — Sarvangasan
Day 1 / Day 20 — Shirshasan attempt

The photos tell the story without words.

Writing the personal observations

Aim for 3–4 sentences that are specific, personal, and honest. Name actual changes you observed during the 20 days. Avoid generic praise. Notice what your student revealed, not what yogis are "supposed to" become.

Example (from the design spec)

"Shivangi ben — on day 1 your butterfly knees floated a hand's width above the floor. By day 20 they rest on the earth. Your spine in paschimottanasan softened completely — you found surrender in a pose that began as effort. Most beautiful: you trusted your body to hold you upside-down. The journey continues."

Notice: specific measurements, actual poses, the voice of witnessing.

Gayatri Mantra (for the blessing)

ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः । तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं । भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि । धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात् ॥
Om bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ
tat savitur vareṇyaṃ
bhargo devasya dhīmahi
dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt

Optional — savasana prayer

JANKI: insert the prayer text you sing during savasana, if you'd like your student to keep a copy
